Some readers from Jakarta highlighted that the Toyota Harrier/Lexus RX represents a symbol of prestige for politicians and artistes; and at the same time has lots of safety features in times of need. The below pictures showed the following :

a) A Toyota Harrier was the choice ride when bombarded by paparazis;

b) A Toyota Harrier was hit by a fallen tree during a thunderstorm, and remained none the worse off after the tree was removed; and

c) A Toyota Harrier took a short cut route to a faster car wash, and when towed back to solid ground, remained as grand as ever.
